Bulk Petroleum Storage Facility Soil Remediation

Houlton and Machias, Maine - EnviroTech Associates, Inc. managed removal of over 11,000 cubic yards of petroleum impacted soil from a bulk storage facility, monitored landspreading of impacted soil on Maine Department of Environmental Protection (MEDEP) approved land. Tasks involved delineating limits of impacted soil; managing removal and transport of soil off-site; conducting test pits; collecting soil samples for on-site laboratory analysis; preparing logs and daily field reports; compiling and tabulating data; interfacing with MEDEP regulators, local officials, and contractors.
