Stamford Rail Yard PCB and Petroleum Contaminated Soil Remediation

Stamford, Connecticut - EnviroTech Associates, Inc. had many responsibilities on this year-long project, of which included soil sampling, field analyzing, delineating, and supervising the excavation and management of PCB and TPH-contaminated soils for off-Site disposal. Staff operated a field laboratory to analyze soil samples for PCBs by immunoassay techniques, TPH by EPA Method 418.1, and VOC screening by gas chromatograph. Additional responsibilities included monitoring worker health and safety.
